What to Expect
Our Sunday services start at 10.30am and normally last about an hour and a quarter. Every first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion during the morning service.
Parking is either in our car park or by the roadside.
Entrance to the church is on level ground and there is a disabled toilet.
At the door there will be a friendly welcome by one of the members who will answer any questions you may have. We have a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs mainly from Mission Praise with the words on a screen, or books are available if preferred, accompanied by piano or organ.
As a church we pray about many things, including global and local issues. These prayers are usually led from the front, but sometimes people will pray from their seats or sometimes there is time of quiet personal prayer and reflection.
For those of us that attend regularly we take up an offering during the service which goes to the work of the church but if you are a newcomer or visiting us please feel free to let it pass by you.
There will be a talk that will be based on the bible and relevant to everyday life.
Communion is incorporated in the service on the first Sunday of the month and represents the heart of the Christian Faith – the fact that through Jesus death and resurrection we can know forgiveness and ‘life to the full’.
After the service we serve refreshments of coffee and tea with a biscuit or two! This is free and gives us an opportunity to have a chat to get know each other better.
